So, I have a two bedroom condo...I've took the downstairs bedroom for my bedroom just because It's smaller and I'm only one person...but the upstairs is huge..loft, huge bathroom, bedroom...its massive. Anyway...so, I have a couple that's interested in the upstairs [they're my friends] and then I have this single girl who's my friend who's interested too. I really want a roommate cause I tend to get super lonely and being lonely at home is starting to take a toll on me...I don't have a boyfriend nor do I want one...but I realize roommates are A LOT of work. What would you do if you were in my similar situation? Would you take the couple, which having a couple could mean a lot more drama or would you take the single girl? Would you take a roommate at all? Any advice? Let it all out...

I'd take the single girl, because if the couple splits up you might end up getting screwed too.

But I've had like 10 roommates, and it's hard no matter what the situation. You can count on having to adapt to something you hate about that person or persons.

The best advice I have for you is to resolve your conflicts head-on, and do not avoid talking about what is bugging you, but on the same note, choose your battles wisely, because not everything is worth fighting about.

Reliable roommates are the best roommates.

Good luck!

Having a stable couple who are both your friends should mean LESS drama than a single girl. The single girl is likely to have various guys over, and I guarantee you'll absolutely hate some of them.

id properly take the single girl, as she will be lonley like u so u can just chill out n stuff.....but if u took the couple u may feel like ur cumin between them even if it is ur house, and also there going to want alot of alone time being a couple so u still maybe be lonley, and i just guess i would be easier to cope with just one person than 2 ppl.....
good luck with wateva u decide

i would take the single girl because with a couple there would be alot of drama, they prolly would fight ALOT.(and maybe a headboard hitting the wall every other night)They would always be wrapped up in eachother and ****. but the single girl may actually spend time to get to know you and hang out with you and stuff.

Ugh I've lived with a couple before and it was hell. Any problems they had in their relationship, they blamed me for them. Yep, it was all my fault. Absolutely everything. If only I would move out, then everything between them would be wonderful.

The fact is, when I moved out, they got divorced - complaining about me was the only thing keeping their marriage together.

PS They weren't my parents; I thought I'd better clear that up.

Take the single girl.

Seriously, ask yourself which one is more emotionally stable.
If the single girl has no issues, take her. The couple risk dragging you into their quarrels if they have any, and it'll make your homelife miserable.
