I am a Mexican with medium dark complexion. If I think I look better with lighter skin, there is no reason why I shouldn't try to have it as long as The Bible doesn't say anything against it.

this isn't really a question of the bible, more a question of self confidence..

i don't feel there's anything wrong with what you want..just not a solution for it yet...for people who want darker skin there's tanning, but for you there's no solution

i suggest going to school, get a science degree and come up with a way to make what you want happen :)

There is nothing wrong with that, you know that if you use a little olive oil with lemon drops and put on your face overnight your skin will get lighter. Although, the Hispanic olive complexion is so beautiful.

peace out

Although it is pretty hard, you can try wearing a strong SPF so that your skin doesnt react to UVA and UVB rays. Also, try exfoliating your skin to remove the dead skin cells. Lemon juice has been known to have bleaching effects so try making a scrub out of lemon juice and brown sugar. It won't be a drastic change, but it should help.

How you prefer to look is your business and yours alone. If you feel better with paler skin, than you do whatever you like to get there.

However, the issue that people generally have with people lightening their skin to look better is that they are generally damaging their skin (women have used bleach, lead, arsenic, etc. to lighten skin) to 'look better' in a way that is seen as giving into the innate racism of society. That to be dark is 'bad' and to be lighter is to be prettier. People come in all sorts of lovely shades, and regardless of what shade you wish to be, no one should feel that they should have to change the color of their skin to e beautiful.

Nothing's wrong with lighter skin but your Mexican so that won't happen unless you start usin' Skin Bleachin' Cream.. It's kinda expensive and you have to constantly keep buyin' it because you want your entire body to become lighter and that would take forever to see improvent..

I don't think theres anything wrong with it as long as it doesnt have anything to do with race. There was a woman on 'My body hell' who lightened her skin but she made it too light so it didnt match her body.

There are illegal/ dangerous skin lighteners out there so be careful.

You appearance is your own decision. If this would make you happier, then I say go for it. We only live once and why live in a state of unhappiness? Regardless, I wish you much happiness.
