how hard is it to say thank you?

Im having a bit of a rant this morning. I left for work today in my car on the way i let so many people out of junctions and let them come passed me because there wasnt room for the both of us and not ONE said thank you. I mean how hard is it. Just i quick nod, or flash of the lights or even just a little hand gesture but no they all just kept looking straight ahead and didnt say thank you. I always say thanks to people . Arhhh how rude are they. Does it annoy anyone else. What sort of things really get you going??

I do every time. I try not to let people ruffle my feathers. I was always told to pick and choose your battles. And for me to battle, it better have a solid good reasoning behind it that I can defend in court.

Ahhh, some people just aren't raised with proper manners. It bugs the crap outta me, when I hold a door open for someone ... and they breeze on thru without even a 'nod' of a thank you. I'm finding it to be more so, as the years go on. I've raised my sons with manners, and often get complimented on how well mannered they are. It is hard to contemplate how some people can be soooo rude, I know. Don't' sweat the small stuff ttc ... hold your head high, and take comfort in the fact that you're not one of them. :)

Dear Hannah ,

I admit people need to show much more courtesy and gratitude than what you experienced this morning ...but well ...that shouldn't upset you. The important thing is that you should feel happy/ satisfied that YOU did the correct thing.
