I would say, inside people are generally good...But how most people portray themselves, is generally bad. I believe most people know right from wrong and would rather be a good person than a bad one. Over the years people have "hardened" themselves, to stay protected from anything bad that might come along. Our society today doesn't seem to respect the good, hard working, honest, caring individuals anymore. They are looked at as chumps, and pushovers and get taking advantage of constantly. The nicer and sweeter you are the more of a "sissy" you are.. And to think its all because people want to look big and bad, to get people to like them. Instead of using kindness to attract people, they use fear. If you fear a person, you are going to do everything possible to please them, so as not to get hurt at all.

I believe in the goodness and kindness of most people. There are always rotten apples in every barrel. The ones that are bad seem to dominate the papers, TV etc. We don't hear too much about the good that people do, because it doesn't sell.
