"Good people that suddenly turns to be ignorant"
Is it because of :
race/ physical/ gender/ age/ understanding/ shyness?
if so, how?

In my experience, I would have to say that people who are usually nice, then suddenly become rude and ignorant - do so because of either fear or ignorance. When they are in an unfamiliar situation or surrounded by strangers they may be less friendly out of fear. Sometimes it is out of ignorance, like when they are rude or mean to a "spanish-speaking" waiter/waitress - because they think that person must be "illegal". Unfortunately we all can fall victim to fear and ignorance if we are not careful.

Lack of awareness about the power of Knowledge and it's a personalized trait and not affected by race/gender etc. Most people remain ignorant not by choice but false sense of well-being due to arrogance.

Ignorance is simply lack of knowledge. Ignorance, to some dergee, is OK. We all are, in one way or another. Arrogance to competence ratio is what really matters. If it's much less than 1 then you're dealing with an ignorant and unpleasant person.

poor upbringing, poor education, being poor, or they simply just dont give a F**k. They probably hate themselves, life, the world and / or God; i think some hate all four. Sometimes people turn ignorant because they have run into misfortunes, like loosing a girlfriend, money, home, etc. they figure they got screwed, so they figure "screw the world" - but i believe that it probably starts at childhood sometimes

lack of facts and knowledge, plus closed mindedness... you gotta have open mind... though sometimes ignorance is bliss.. sometimes not knowing is good... though i dont fully agree with that...
