I decide at a forensics (speech) opposition, and the distinctive pupils have an identical "velocity" concern. The workout I often propose they do is to bypass over their cloth and take an entire, deep breath on the top of each and every line. meaning... communicate the line, breath IN... breath OUT... take the subsequent breath for the subsequent line... and then communicate the subsequent line... etc. It truly slows you down, it additionally enables loosen up you. Then, whilst it comes time to easily study/communicate your strains, you will finally end up going greater slowly, besides the actuality that it might desire to experience such as you're going speedy because you're actually not taking the breaths inbetween. good .... no wait... in the theatre it is going... smash a Leg!!! Have a well mannered day!

you need to stop take a deep breath and tell yourself to slow down. Slow down your speech and work out what makes you anxious. If you can work out what is making you anxious then you can rationalise whether or not it is worth worrying about. Good luck

i have the same problems

tips:
1. before you start talking take a deep breath and relax
2. think over what your going to say at least once in your head first
3. when your talking you tend to say things faster if you know what to say right away so before you say anything pause a couple of times, sorta like checkpoints in what your saying
