Yes.
Until I was about 10 I believed in the guy in a red suit complete with magic reindeer and a sac bulging with all kinds of presents.

I am 13 now and realize that guy is just a fantasy. But I still believe there is a spirit of Christmas...the santa is the spirit within us and it is up to us to use it. So every year in November and December I make homemade Christmas cards, bake treats, hunt around the stores for perfect little gifts, make art projects, write stories and poems all for fun and to give to my family and friends! Even some people at school I hardly know! That is what santa and Chrsitmas and all that is really about. It really makes the winter season a special and fun time for me. :]

When I was a little girl, we decorated the tree and on Christmas Eve I got the cookies and the milk for Santa and went to bed. Sometimes I sneak to see If Santa had left me any thing or if the cookies I left were eaten. Then in the morning I would be the first one up wake up my Mom and we both went to see what Santa brought. Yes,when I was little I believed in Santa.

Ironically I believed in Santa a lot longer than I believed in "God".

Then again, people representing Santa weren't doing horrible things to a 4 year old.

Peace.

No. My folks always said that "santa claus" represented the spirit of giving and Christmas. That he wasn't a real person, just the idea of giving.

The first grandchildren were boys, we were all born in less than two years so we pushed each other to see who Santa really was. I caught a cousin dressing up as Santa.

Yes, but not past 4 or 5.

I let my parents think I still believed until I was about 10 because I knew I would get more of a haul.

Yea in 6th grade I had my first male teacher & he asked the kids to raise their hands if they believed in Santa. I was the only one to raise my hand!! I walked home furious w/ my mom & I told her what happened & then said "I suppose there's no Easter Bunny either!?"

Yes. And so did my kids. Not as a true person, but as the spirit of giving to others.
