Is she a memorable character?

I think I'm going to audition for her as my 1st choice in our school place.
I perfected my "Ye Gods" lines and am very perky.

If you're a teen girl, then yes she's the best role to audition for. There are no other teen girl roles in the show. She's definitely not a lead, but she's the mayor's eldest girl and she's got Tommy running after her. Ye Gods is exactly right. She gets to dance in the library and is often featured more than the other teen dancers. You wouldn't have any solos as far as music goes. The most memorable thing about her is "Ye Gods" That's about it honestly. If this is a school production and you sing very well Marian is obviously the lead. Mrs. Paroo (can you do a thick Irish accent?) is fun and the Pick a little ladies lead by Mrs. Shinn the Mayor's wife are lots of fun if you don't mind making a fool of yourself. For a teen, they may not be ideal roles, but they are really fun characters. If you just want to be pretty and memorable then go for Zaneeta. Not a lot of lines, easy to play. For some reason she is usually given a better bow than the pick-a-little ladies though...

She has a few scenes but not a lot of lines. I think she does two dance numbers and she's in the grand finale.
