When I was a freshman in college I thought that everyone would get along. I didn't think people would reject each other. Now, I've become more realistic and realized that people will continue to hate and ostracize one another. It will forever continue. It doesn't matter what age group you are in. For some reason, I don't want to accept that I will never fit in. I am always trying to look for ways, skills to communicate with people around me. I am Ghandi in a way. They see me as the weak one, but I see myself as the strong one. I refuse to hurt someone intentionally. It's just WRONG.

Offer me perspective. I am still young and don't know if my beliefs will help me in the long run. Should I cut off any communication/ eye contact with those who simply don't like me? Is it hard for me to accept reality? What is reality?

Everything is a perspective. Including those who tell me that I am wrong. Just accept things and be patient. Is there a universal way of dealing with haters?

i guess you had a somewhat sheltered life until college if you thought that everyone would get along,,i think sometimes the best way to communicate is to do more listening than talking, two subjects that always lead to disagreement are politics and religion.stand by what you believe in but dont force it on others,,,be yourself let the others "fit in"with you

Maintain a link with the world is a detached manner and watch things slide. Do what your conscience prompts you to do.
