That's my prediction right now. I don't think LSU and Oklahoma will survive their conference championship games.

Some of you are clueless. LSU got beat by Kentucky who was throttled by Miss St - who WVU stomped. They also were very lucky to pull 2 games out of their ---.

Oklahoma lost to Colorado and struggled against Iowa St.

If you think the rest of the season is set in stone, or if you think WVU has no chance, you are totally clueless on football. GO WATCH ESPN RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!

i think you're in for a trip to the therapists couch if you believe that. here's why- lsu will win out regardless of who they play, either tennessee or georgia, in the sec championship game, that leaves them #1, kansas will be the new #2 but they still have to play missouri and oklahoma state, then if they win those games they have a conference title game with more than likely oklahoma. if oklahoma wins then kansas is out. oklahoma will go to the sugar bowl. if missouri beats kansas, then they will play oklahoma in the title game. i see neither kansas or missouri beating oklahoma in the title game. west virginia has the easiest route of all the top 5 teams to make it but they will not go period. they will not surpass any team in the big 12- kansas, missouri or oklahoma. if lsu wins out then west virginia will go to the orange bowl and play bc and not play in the sugar.

Uhhhhh, you seem to be forgetting that the Kansas/Mizzou winner has to play Oklahoma for the Big 12 title first. Not to mention that LSU has to lose for WV to enter into the equation. Nice try though.

W. Virgina? You think they should be matched against the winner of Missouri-Kansas? Hmmmm, seems Missouri has one loss and who was that lose to? Oklahoma!

Look. W. Virgina is a solid team, damn good in fact. But Oklahoma and LSU are the best teams in the nation. And frankly I am hoping Kansas will grab the number two spot, because I am wanting the number 2 Curse to rear its ugly head come the Big 12 Champ. game.

It could be OSU vs. Kansas or USC. If LSU loses the SEC championship game and VT loses, it is quite possible. If LSU wins that should put them at least above Georgia but VT would have to lose in order for them to get into the BCS title game. Alot of what ifs but it could get interesting.

Small detail -- OU's conference championship game is against the MU-KU winner (so why not just say Big 12 Champion).

My hunch says West Virginia has one more loss coming. I think tonight's Oregon loss gives the Big 12 Champion (barring upsets this weekend) a spot in the title game.

LSU is going to have a tough time winning out (and not just the SEC Championship).

I am seeing the Big 12 Champion facing a 10-2 or 11-2 team, but am not sure who it will be.

p.s. Curse of the number 2 -- KU goes up to #2 which means they lose to Mizzou. OU then goes up to #2 which means they lose to Mizzou. I am liking this curse of the number 2.

If I could give the question a Thumbs down I would...

LSU and Oklahoma are the best teams right now WVU is joke and Kansas is unproven, so I can't really say anything against them.

nah i dont think LSU will lose again but i do think OU will lose.
West Virginia has no shot of the title if LSU wins out.
