I wondered about that myself. It is kind of a double standard, isn't it? I don't mind putting the seat down myself, just like men shouldn't mind putting it up themselves. It's not that difficult to put the seat in the position you need it to be in; I don't see why we women make such a big deal about it.

lol thats a good point. in my home there are more females and the majority rules, so guys put the seat back down.

The first time I was taken to Bike Week in Daytona Florida I think it was 1998? I don't remember! Anyway to show my man & his friend that I appreciated them bringing me there with them I put the seat back up everytime I was done!! They loved it!

cuz men actually face the toilet when they go, so they can't say "Why didn't you put the seat up! I didn't see it! I could of fallen in!"
Maybe guys should just practice on their aim.

Hey, you men only sit on it for one reason. We women have to sit on it no matter what. Our two reasons out number your one reason. And do we women really want to touch the underneath side without gloves? I don't think so!

when you use a public toilet you never sit on the thing cause it´s crawling with all kind of germs, so you don´t need it to be down
