Either July or August 2007. If we'd never been on I-86 in western New York before, that was the most recent one (we'd always used 80 to get home).
If we HAD been there before, though, then our most recent new place was earlier in the same trip, on the last inch of the Tok Cut-off before it makes a turn onto the Alaska Highway in Tok, Alaska (because we had already been on the Alaska Highway in Tok about 10 days earlier).
On that road trip, anything north or west of Edmonton was new to us, including British Columbia, the Yukon Territory, and Alaska. It was an amazing four-week trip.

Back in June I went to Anchorage, AK and in August I went to Quebec City and Montreal.

last month, went to richmond and charlottesville, virginia.
prior to that was last christmas when I went to montreal, canada.
