"B is proportional to the square of C and inversely proportional to D. If B=6 when C=12 and D=6, find B when C=28 and D=8."

B = kC^2/D
k = BD/C^2 = 6*6/12*12 = 1/4
B = (1/4)(28^2)/8
B = 24.5

When C = 28, B = 9.165.....

When D = 8, B =4.5
