I read this somewhere.
That Hitler's army was the strongest on earth.

Is that true? During world war 1, the US fielded to europe 10,000 troops a day. Surely the US still had as strong a military 20 years later.

France in Numbers showed the Strongest Army but Germany went through them like a dose of Epsom Salts by going around their Maginot Line. So in Reality Germany had the Most Mobile--Best Equipped-and Tactics(Blitzkreig) of any Army. The US downsized after W W 1 and Germany was increasing the Arms in a Hurry--More Tanks-More Self Propelled Guns--The Dreaded 88 Millimeter multi Purpose gun. At the same time the US Army was using Pick up trucks in their Armored Divisions. The US even during the WW 2 had Inferior equipment compared to Germany--The M4 Sherman Tank was No Match for Germanys Panther and Tiger Tanks. We Just out produced them in the Arms Build Up during the War and our overwhelming Numers of Planes-Tanks-Guns won the War. Not to Bash the US but The Main Superiority for the US Weponry was the M1 Rifle far outclassed the German Bolt Action Mouser in firepower-Accuracy and Range when it got down to the Foot Soldier. Our Airforce was not outclassed as bad as our Army!!!!!

No, Its a tie between the French and the British. even however the Germans have been the main efficient in WW2 with their panzers, tiger tanks, progressed technologies including Me262, V-2 rocket, Horten Ho 229 and STG44. The British have been fairly efficient and nevertheless are, that they had the main efficient army interior the worldwide with a good military. The French had a good protection stress as properly in the process the Napoleonic era, yet there merely flaw became there chief who needed administration of each and every thing. Which led them being stereotyped for the duration of ww1 and ww2, for frequently taking flight. however the French now at the instant are not any greater the way they was by using fact the have a good chief Sarkozy who doesnt back out of all wars or conflicts. and so that they've a good protection stress.

My understanding is that yes, the German army at the beginning of WWII was the most powerful...They had been planning and building for war for several years. Understand, the United States was, for the most part, trying to stay out of Europe's War. Only when the US entered the war and put its industrial power to work and changed many factories to support the war effort did they become the force that they were (are).

Right after WWI the US cut its military drastically. America was woefully unprepared for WWII. The strongest army, on paper, at the start of WW II was the French army, believe it or not. However, their equipment and tactics were inferior to the Wehrmacht's.

Most certainly YES, they had amazing technology, even some today would be crazy. In fact so much of their technology(NAZI technology) has been stolen and never given true credit, such as the A-bomb, rockets, flying cars (Volkswaffe-do the research), flying saucer technology, jet planes, ships (Bismark) underseeboot (U-boat).etc... no one could stop the technology they had, only thing was they ran out of time, and supplies on top of a few major mistakes that cost them the war like attacking Russia after a peace treaty and not attacking US while it was in a depression.
