Usually the pill takes one moth to become effective, so being on it only 3 weeks isn't much protection. If you had unprotected sex, ten obviously you could be pregnant. Pregnancy tests are fairly accurate if you do it right. If you take it too early it could give a false negative. Wait a week, and take another. Also, the "pregnancy symptoms" could be happening simply because your body is getting used to the pill. It works by making your body think you are pregnant, so you could get symptoms. Good luck!

There are no sure symptoms of pregnancy. Pregnancy tests are very accurate these days (well into the 90%'s, usually 98-99%). If you are still unsure, take another test or go to a doctor or clinic to have them perform a test for you.
The pill does not really protect you from becoming pregnant until you have taken it for a month. You should really be using other forms of birth control if you are going to be having sex. Also, be aware that the pill does not protect you against STD's. You should still be using condoms to protect against STD's.

Most of the time you don't crave things for a few months. Sore breasts can be from hormones...I wouldn't worry. If you have had unprotected sex, I would see a health care professional...ie family planning. Most states and towns have them. Or the public health nurse. You need to make sure the pill is taken at the same time every day to improve the dependability of it. Hope all goes well!

Pregnancy tests are somewhat accurate but you should also get a test done at your doctor's office or a clinic to be 100% sure. Since you have been a the pill for three weeks, you may have pms.

everyone's pretty right on that, it could be you adjusting to the pills or they might not be effective yet, unless you have the ones that you start taking the first day of your period, those say they become effective immediately. you could wait until your next period to see if you get it or not and test, which is uncertain too because periods can be irregular first months on the pill. or you can go to a planned parenthood or a clinic or something to get a blood test, so your parents dont have to know. good luck with everything!

The pill can cause hormonal changes like you describe. Check out WebMD & see if it has info to help. It has a symptom checker & test results for you. Good luck.

I think it's just your body adjusting to the hormones of birth control....
I remember when I first got on birth control the side effects were pretty bad!!! My boobs hurt SOOOOO bad, and they were so hard. Also, I was always grouchy, tired, and nauseous...so I think you're experiencing the same thing
