My girl keeps asking me to have sex with her, but I've been reluctant for legal reasons. I'm unsure of the laws dictating maximum age difference for sexual relations in Washington State. We are both over 16, the age of consent, but one of us is over 18 and the other is not. Help here?

Sorry. The age of consent is 18.

Age of consent in WA state is 16, unless the older party is employed by the school district that the younger persona attends, in which case it's 18.

That means that the age difference between you is irrelevant

Dude, I honestly don't think you will get in any trouble at all.
I personally think that law would only be enforced if it was like, a 45 year old and a 15 year old or something, disgusting I know, but that's probably why it's enforced.
I know pleanty of people that have sex in your position and don't get caught, just don't do it at like school.

And for the person above me, age of consent differs between states.

If you're over 16 in Washington, you're good to go.

For those who don't know, age of sexual consent varies from state to state. In Washington state, it's 16.
