I have a winter jacket and a snowsuit.
I use the snowsuit when the temp is 40ish or lower and the winter jacket for 50s to 60s.

I never used a snowsuit because my kids always ended up to hot and would be fussy. I used a carseat cover and alot of blankets.

If the weather means you want to wear a heavy parka, you can put your child into a snowsuit.

Babies should always have on one more layer than we do. They don't regulate body temp well so that is why the extra layer.
