help, fast, toilet overflowing?

Question

my toilets clogged, so for some reason, not all of the toilet water flushes, so when more is added, it starts overflowing. the disgusting substances are at the top, and if i flush once more, it will overflow. the plunger doesnt work... help!

i cant by a snake or auger by the next time i have to go to the bathroom, and its literally at the lid.

o, it turns out my mother tried the snake, and didnt find any clogs, i have a little 6 year old sister, so i'm temporarily blaming it all on her, but if its not a clog, what is it?

also, for now, how can i get the toilet water down so i have a little less worry? i'll fix the problem later, but right now i need to lower the water

There is another tool for this problem called a bowl auger, it is a specialized type of snake to get around the trap of the toilet bowl, but I have never had to use one unless there is a forgin object wedged in the "stool" (like the kids shoved toys down the toilet or something). Normally, the regular plunger should work, but you need to push and pull rapidly and vigourously; you might need to bail out some of the water first, so it doesn't splatter septic material everywhere.

Added: if it is not a clog at the toilet, it could be a clog in the main sewer line, but this is fairly unusual. If that happens, sometimes you will find sewage backing up into other sinks, bath tubs etc usualy on lower floors (depends on where the clog is and geometry of your particular plumbing system. You're positve nobody dropped something down there? Even a pencil, piece of wire or toothbrush etc will get stuck part way through the trap and collect wads of paper etc and become the nucleus of a clog.

Go to your nearest hardware store and buy a snake. It's a coiled rod that comes in various lengths. A handcrank 1 will work, maybe 15 to 25 feet long. You slowly feed the snake down the toilet, when you can't push the snake any farther, then you crank it and it will spin the coiled rod thereby loosening up whatever it is caught on. If that doesn't work , call a plumber.

Um.... if the water keeps running... turn the valve at the bottom of the toilet near the wall to the right until it stops letting water into the tank. Keep plunging for a while. If that doesnt work you might need to call a Plumber/Router to unclog the toilet. Good luck!

is water anywhere else? like bathtub or any place lower (say that is 2nd floor bath and another bath is downstairs)

Keep using the plunger on it. you will prob have 'stuff' come out or more water run out... towels (white so you can use bleach) to get up the water.. the other stuff i dunno lol.

plunge away. dont flush anymore til the water is down or gone. you can reach inside the tank and pull up on the flapper to release more water in the tank, to test out if it is working... that way you can stop the flow if needed

positioned the plunger interior the bathroom and get it comfortable down in there and then in basic terms plunge it right away with a good quantity of stress. you're going to ought to get hard with it and not be a sissy about it. My spouse does that stuff now and again and she'll call me in to assist and that i will flow in and jam the snot out of it and it is going to finally sparkling out. do not supply up...shop plunging on it. you're really pushing air and stress by ability of the pipe to get what's stuck released. So except you flushed a pair of underclothes or something loopy like that you ought to be able to get it unstuck. ( a minimum of i wish so for your sake ). If that would not artwork...you larger call your dad and mom ( in the experience that they are positive ). in the experience that they are not then call a pal. If that would not do it. call the police and get out of the abode previously your dad and mom get abode ( i'm kidding ). come decrease back and "edit" your post in somewhat to enable us understand in case to procure it fastened.
