You should stick with your original PS2 instincts. You said you like RPG's and Fighters. They don't really have those for the Wii. The Wii is meant for kids and "non-gamers" according to Nintendo... So if you want more adult themed games go the PS2 road. Graphics wise, the difference between the PS2 and the Wii is amazing. Amazing that the difference is so small. The Wii is weak, stick with what you know or save up more money for a 360 or a PS3. That's the real investment.

Rachet and Clank Series for PS2, amazing games. Also try Jak and Daxter. Very similiar to Kingdom hearts/final fantasy. You could probably get them used for under $10 each.

*ALL sims games---a little like Animal Crossing ^^
*spiderman 3---can travel wherever you want to
*DBZ budokai Tenkaichi 3---nice graphic fighting game
*guitar hero 2 or 3---nice guitar game, but cost a little too much
*Spyro: The Eternal Night---cool dragon action game :)
*Harvest Moon games---also like animal crossing too^^
*Ratchet and Clank games---really cool adventure game:)
*the simpsons---funny game if you like the movie^^
*naruto chronicles 2--- if you like the anime naruto, this should be a cool game for you:)

Wii
*my sims--- a lot like animal crossing. get to build buildings and furniture too^^
*mario galaxy---nice graphic game and if you like mario, a good game for you:)
*Pokemon Battle Revolution--- if your a BIG fan of pokemon, good game for you. you can battle players around the world i think^^
*Lengend of Zelda Twilight Princess---if you liked the zelda games, this is a good game for you. also has nice graphics:)
*Bleach Shattered Blade---if you like bleach, a good game for you
*Cooking mama--- if you like cooking, a good game for you. but mind the voices of the person speaking, gets kinda annoying....
*Lego Star Wars The Complete Sega---if you liked star wars, and cool game with nice graphics
*Mario Strikers: Charged---cool game if you like mario
