I know we don't give gifts on thanksgiving; however, there is no way for me to give gifts to my professor on Christmas. I have no idea how to connect her on Christmas. Do you think it is okay to give her gifts on thanksgiving and also tell her how much I appreciate her?

That would be acceptable I am sure, nothing lavish though. Couldnt you give her a Christmas gift before break though?

That's gonna look an awful lot like "brown-nosing" & SOME Professors take offence at that... If you REALLY feel the need to express your Appreciation- hand her a small gift after your LAST CLASS of the Semester & Thank Her for giving such a wonderful Class... That's the BEST gift she could ask for from her Students! :)

I think it is appropriate as the meaning of the gift outweighs the date or significance of an otherwise ordinary day.

When I was a kid, I used to get gifts on Thanksgiving but my b-day is always on the same week so maybe that was why.

sure I agree continually carry some thing!!!! never bypass empty handed-- all of us says oh do no longer difficulty yet have confidence me its the theory counts. There are some issues you're able to do and those are all looking on your character. I working example love baking so each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days around this time I bake a ton of cookies all varieties and initiate making waiting "cookie-plates" I carry to holiday dinners or perhaps provide as presents to human beings. If baking isn't your component a bottle of wine or perhaps an association of fall flora sound super as properly. i in my opinion love flora and a bottle of wine is often a stable theory. so some distance as what wine to hold it quite would not count. of direction relies upon on fee and and how lots you opt to spend. an excellent Chardonnay on the marketplace is from Kendal Jackson and it quite is competitively priced. And in case you opt to bypass all out carry a bottle of white and pink i understand KJ incorporates some tasty pink wines as properly. in spite of you come again to a call to hold that is going to likely be a great deal liked. satisfied Thanksgiving!

Will it raise your grade?

Can you give a small token to her before Christmas (anytime after December 1 should be okay) without making it seem like you're looking for a quid pro quo?

Thanksgiving presents seem odd, unless you're actually going to sharing Thanksgiving dinner.

Just explain that you will be absent on Christmas so you wanted to be sure and get your gift to her now. You can still tell her DO NOT OPEN UNTIL CHRISTMAS!
