Absolutely. That field is extremely popular and the schools that are offering the program are extremely limited. My daughter has finished her prerequisites and is still waiting to get into a program, even though her GPA is above 3.50 and she's already an RDA. My suggestion is to focus on your science classes (anatomy, chemistry, etc.) and be as well-rounded of a student as possible. Get the highest grades possible also - in most cases you will be competing with top-of-the-line graduates for one of 24-30 spots out of hundreds of applicants.

Well, if I was your patient, and I learned you barely passed health class and the dentist's bar exam, I would go "Oh good lord." It's kinda like a doctor who doesn't know the difference between a gallbladder and an actual bladder. Kinda scary.
If you're gonna be messing with my teeth, I should HOPE TO HIGH HELL you had good grades!

you have to had passing grades but you dont have to have gpa of 90 and highter 75 is just perfect i guess but if you are good in shool you knwo thats a big plus tooo!!
