What is 'god'? That is the question. Some people believe in God, who we are made in his image as the divine Lord, ruler of all elements and fates... others believe in gods, super-human beings who rule over love, war, fertility, the sun, death ect... yet others believe 'god' is like a philosophy for people to follow his teachings to eventually become enlightened (Buddha)... and still there are some people who view there is no god, but only universal integrity: the virtues of the universe...

What 'god' stands for for the billions of people living here on earth is infinite. The idea of god is the world, the universe, or the path to enlightenment, or the divine Lord...

Whatever 'god' is to you, he, she, the world, or the teaching... god is everywhere and yet no where but only there where you believe.

God is divine Truth, Life, and Love, among other humanly-recognized attributes.

When "I Am Mind" abides in you, you are the Light of the World. God is Energy and Light.

Kindly consider reading "Climb the Highest Mountain" and "The Masters and Their Retreats," Mark Prophet, "Men in White Apparel" and "Watch Your Dreams," Ann Ree Colton, "Light Is a Living Spirit," O. M. Aivanhov, "Expecting Adam," Martha Beck, "The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?", Free and Wilcock, http://www.divinecosmos.com "Life before Life," Jim Tucker, M.D., "Extraordinary Knowing," Dr. Elizabeth Mayer, "The Field," Lynne McTaggart, "The Great Divorce," C. S. Lewis. They are great books and authors and answer to your question.

best regards,

it doesn't matter, and i will tell you why. putting facts and opinions aside, according to the bible, we were made in His image. because of this, a piece of Him exists in us, so you could say that He is with us here in this world. but then, the bible also says that He is in heaven, which is outside of earth. He watches over us, so once again you could say that He is with us. but then, one can also say that even though we are being watched, it doesn't mean that He is with us on earth. then again, a piece of Him exists within us, so as you can see, questions and answers go back in circles. not only that, but each answer can be refuted over and over.

so does it matter? not really, because He might be in just one place, might also be in both. as you can see, it could be either of the answers, it could be neither.

i'm sorry that this is confusing. after all, this is a philosophical question. and some or most philosophical questions like this one will make your head spin.

Impossible to answer. you would have to be able to see God first, or ascend to God's level of understanding to fully know, which is, of course, not possible.
