What were the social and economic factors of European Exploration? I need this for Humanities!

Im in a young grade, just started junior high, so like maybe something I could understand lol, and for European Exploration to Canada, sorry i 4got that!

One answer is that the breakdown of the feudal system resulted in people who were normally involved in that being at loose ends and exploration used up the energy and focus of these people by sending them off to foreign countries.
Also, this was a time of nation forming when land holdings within regions of Europe were consolidating into nations, including France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands who looked for resources to develop themselves outside of their strong neighbors.
