If you don't like scotch, champagne works really well too

Actually, the hot water alone will help with the pain. Have your spouse or house mate put a thick terry robe in the dryer while you are in the bath and bring it to you fresh and warm just as you get out. Wrap yourself in it to maintain heat on the joints for a longer period of time.
You can add bubble bath, bath oils or dried flowers to the water just to make the bath smell better, but the water will be doing the therapy.
Be sure to use a good non slip liner and have sturdy hand rails installed if you have balance problems due to stiff joints. You don't want to add a broken hip or leg to your problems.

Imagine for a moment your arthritis completely vanishing right now.
If, in a moment, your pain and stiffness melted away. And your joints all of a sudden functioned like a well-oiled machine.
Like a magic wand was waived, you'd be able to jump up from your chair and run around the room like a kid.
And imagine that you'd never have to suffer as much as a pinch of arthritis stiffness or pain ever again.
I know this sounds impossible right now, but bear with me, because sometimes miracles happen.
It was a gift from a woman on the other side of the world. From the kindness of her heart, she took pity on my suffering and taught me how to completely reverse my arthritis.
Today, I want to do the same for you!

I like Sea Salt, or, a product called Sunjing, just a few drops in the bath eases the pain in the joints and can be applied directly to the painful joint when you get out of the tub.
If you want to read more about Sunjing...http://www.Vitamark.com/287998 and search under Shopping/view products/Nutrition then on page 3 you will see the Sunjing product.

Ginger and tumeric are helpful anti-inflamatories. You can use their essential oils in your bath.
Paraffin is also great for arthritis. You can get the wax and the warmer at walmart or a drug store. Just warm the wax and dip the arthritic area in it, or drizzle it over the area. Its not hot enough to burn. It feels like a warm bath. The wax is reusable.

Sea salts..especially the therapeutic dead sea salts.. has a mixture for pain and also skin protectors..Epsom salt is very good but can leave your skin dry...dead sea salts has Epsom mixed in usually..make sure to use the hottest water you can tolerate as this opens the pores and lets the salts in...
Hope this helps
