(4t^2 + 36t + 80) / (16t^2 - 16t - 320)

= 4(t^2 + 9t + 20) / 16(t^2 - t - 20)

= 4(t+5)(t+4) / 16(t-5)(t+4)

= (t+5) / 4(t-5) ANSWER

CHECK by seeing if x = 1 is the same for the original equation and the answer

Original equation SUBSTITUTE x = 1
(4t^2 + 36t + 80) / (16t^2 - 16t - 320)
= (4 + 36 +80) / (16 - 16 - 320)
= 120 / (-320) DIVIDE both sides 40
= -3/8

Answer SUBSTITUTE x =1
(1+5) / 4(1-5)
= 6/(-16)
= -3/8 the results are the same therefore it check out

(4t²+36t+80)/(16t²-16t-320)
=[4(t+4)(t+5)]/[(t-5)(t+4)16]
=0.25(t+5)/(t-5)
