My friend I read you question before it was pulled & saw no offense. You were inquiring "Why do people hate the USA". Then you statrd your opinion. I see nothing wrong. Maybe some terrorist out there was offended by your patriotism. IDK. Why Yahoo would pull your question when they allow so many 9/11 conspiracy, anti America, & pro illigal immigration rants. Not to mention Yahoo shared personal information of their users with communist China. I hope your able to read this befor they pull my answer. Or maybe they'll just kick me off alltogether. God forbid it gets out they made a mistaske.

We go around and around and around with this on here - Yahoo! Answers should stick a huge banner on the sign-up/registration page explaining this:
If you are American, your "freedom" of speech is guaranteed to you by the First Amendment of the US Constitution. In relevant part, the First Amendment says:
"Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech...."
Now, let's review:
Congress has not made a law abridging your "freedom of speech" on Yahoo! Answers, therefore, the First Amendment (guaranteeing your "right to free speech") does NOT apply to this question.
Yahoo! Answers is a private forum that is open to all registered members who agree to abide by Yahoo's terms and conditions of use. Because Yahoo! is a private forum, those terms and conditions can be pretty much anything Yahoo! wans them to be, so long as they are not discriminatory against a protected class.
You are free not to accept the Yahoo! Answers rules, Yahoo! is free to deny you access to their private forum if you refuse to accept them.
Amazing, this free country stuff, isn't it?

I am not sure what your question was but I can tell u one thing, u do NOT have freedom of speech, not now days, everything is seen as obsesne or offensive, remember the superbowl w/ the Janet Jackson nipple slip? everyone made a fuss over it, Europe laughed at us for it, this even got more attention than the war on terror for F**K sakes.

freedom of speech is not applicable in the news&events section unfortunately. everything gets reported in here. if someone is bored, the big red report button is used. same goes for any question that isn't pro-mccann.
This is the only section that doesn't follow the rules. lol, we're rebels.

It's not really Yahoo. The woman who lives next door weighs in at about 200 pounds. She buys trash off the Home Shopping Networks and goes through Yahoo answers like a Nazi in heat reporting posters that don't think the way she does.If you like something she or her Nazi trailer living porkers don't like You vell get reported. Can't we all just get a loan?

Because this is a Forum to Ask & Answer Questions- not espouse political points of view... Yahoo TRYS to maintain this concept...-They don't always succeed, but I'd give them a C+ for effort... The Soap boxes are on your Right... :)

well, if it helps you freedom of speech does not extend to hate speech or fighting words if that was what you were posting. This is not public domain either, this is owned by someone and they reserve the right to mandate what you may do on their website!

Freedom of speech is a restriction on Government, not businesses like Yahoo!. They can censor you all they want.

It has to be a question and not a rant. Thats the rules. If you feel you cannot follow the rules, go somewhere else. I got my questions reported when I was new. I learned the rules and live happily with them because I like the community. Its up to you what you want to do.
