I had someone tell me about a week ago that I am jaded because of my posts. I have never been able to get a clear definition of the word "jaded". Help, what does it mean.

It's supposed to mean disillusioned with life and somewhat cynical, but I call it being a realist.

I somewhat take this term to mean that a person has had negative experiences regarding whatever is being presented to them at this moment by someone, and they will respond that they may be somewhat jaded because they have had bad experiences before with the same thing and now they are very skeptical about it.

jad·ed [jáydəd]
adjective
1. bored: no longer interested in something, often because of having been overexposed to it
2. tired: exhausted, especially through overwork

Basically that you're boring and no one is interested in dating you so you're passed up for someone else.

The person may have meant that you are tiring, exhausting, or not very original.
