It is absolutely disgusting! I was furious after reading the article. Less than 2 hours behind bars for a second offence of DUI.
What concerns me the most is does this set a precinct for everyone else in America. Can this then be used by everyone who is convicted of DUI? Can lawyers now argue for their clients that they should only serve 2 hrs behind bars and 10 days community service because it happened in this case?
I would hate to see what happens when one of these celebrity brats actually injures someone behind the wheel.

Of course it's unfair! It's quite appalling actually. She was the worse offender of the bunch. 3 DUI's, 2 of those were before she was even 21. Possession of cocaine, hit and run, etc. But what did you expect?
Unfortunately between Britney, Paris, Nicole, and all the other little bimbos that can't seem to keep themselves out of trouble this year, I've already expelled all my indignation over the injustices of punishment when celebrities break the law, and I have no more thoughts left on it.
Oh let's not forget about Pacman Jones. I'm sure we can add Michael Vick too, and of course the whole Barry Bonds thing that was just announced today. It looks like HE might actually be in some serious trouble though. But then again, the media ALWAYS says they are going to get in big trouble and then start screaming scandal, only to have them wind up going to prison for 15 minutes or coping a plea agreement.

This just proves that prominent status helps you get out in trouble. How can you expect people to follow the law when people like celebrities know they can get out of it easy.
If the celebrity experience harsh punishment...it be like the fault of the police department or the justice system. Try everyone equal, just because celebrity pay more taxes because they earn more then that's just wrong. You can just throw away the justice system and having all the cops hired by the government to be the celebrities' bodyguard.
I have nothing against celebrities in general, just those stuck up ones like Paris Hilton. At their age, they just do whatever they want drugs and stuff cause they know they have the money for everything. Unlike us regular people, we're cautious about things cause we only have so much to go by.

Kiefer Sutherland is the guy. think of of his time as character learn for the ever-evolving Jack Bauer. He even extreme-fived human beings going into detention center and served his sentence like a guy. Lindsay Lohan acts like she would have the capacity to stroll over anybody -- no admire there. If she have been warm, it can be a splash greater comprehensible, yet c'mon LiLo. sport, set, adventure: Sutherland

I am sick of hearing about the spoiled brats, Lindsy Lohan, Britney Spears, her sister Ashley, Paris Hilton and her sister getting all of this press for being bad girls and then being slapped on the wrist when we, the average citizens would be put under the jail if we did the same deeds these spoiled brat girls did.

Of course its "special treatment" celebrities. Take parris hilton for an example, no other inmate would be allowed to go home because of "depression". People like them can do what they want when they wont for two reason: THEIR RICH and FAMOUSE!!!! Some poor person gets caught high, drunk, and violating probation and they spend the rest of thier lives in jail.

And, how many autographs did she sign? Or, did she even make is out of the holding tank and into POPULATION? Highly doubtful! What makes her any more important or special than you or me or anybody else who isn't of 'STAR' status? Hell, look at Paris...she got the royal treatment...and she also made porn! It is absolutely ludicrous how anyone of 'star' status is considered to be more important and should have less stress or charges for their offenses than just your average, everyday person.
