When my dog died because someone broke into my home and shot him when I was out of town.
Change me as a person?
I realized that no matter how guilt ridden I felt that there was nothing I could do about it...even if I was at home... I couldn't have kept those kids from breaking into my home.

I got the call from my girlfriend's husband. She and her unborn baby died in a crash. We went over to her house and her little daughter was crawling around saying, "mama" all the time.
I bought a new car that was bigger and had more safety features, because my car was the same as hers, a small car. Also, I realized how your life can be gone in a split second. You just do not have control over these things. I try to be very careful all the time.

ok, it wasnt hard for me to remember it either... Ok, i was outside and we as a family, watched my cat get hit by a car, and the saddest thing, was he kept trying to get up. I watched him die, so did my two kids, aged 14 and 5. But the odd thing was, the cop that came to my house, was her hubby and he told me I was over- reacting. he later was killed in the line of duty. That, was what I found odd. I called because the dingy so and so, was speeding, AND wearing sunglasses AND she had tinted windows AND was yapping on her cell phone, AND yelling at her kid in the backseat,SHE CLAIMED SHE DIDNT SEE THE WHITE CAT ON A BLACKTOP ROAD. Oh i was soooooo mad! Anyhow, it changed me , as i now believe that what we do, good or bad, comes back on us.

Nice fake stories, @ssholes.
Here's a real one: The day the twenty-sixth amendment was ratified.
It didn't change me, it only empowered idiots.
