Failure, plain & simple. Even as far back as HS, failure was my largest fear. In fact, we had to write an essay - as related to Orwell's 1984 & the ultimate fear of "Room 101" - on what our Room 101 would contain. Mine was 'failure'. It almost became prophetic as I flunked out of college, became a bouncer & bartender and generally screwed around tempting the fates at every juncture. It took a divorce, a LOT of deep introspection & honesty to finalize get my head out of my butt, turn my life around & make something of myself.
Now, in less than 10 months, I will complete my medical training & be a double-boarded physician - anesthesiology & critical care. I would never have gotten to where I am without the unconditional love & support of my wife!

this one doctor that when I was younger performed surgery on me and it took forever for the anestesia to wear off and i was totally miserable.
Now my friend says she wants to be an anestesiologist and i never said this to her but I really don't see why.
Iz basically let go uh my fears by now except fer this one, and I'm not sure hauscome.
