I toss it in a huge jar and then deposit it once a year. You'd be surprised how many hundreds of dollars you can collect each year just in pennies.

I will piggy bank them if I am near my piggy. If not I totally trash them to be honest. Pennys are not worth a thing now a days. Unless you save more than a hundred of them....and who knows how long that will take.

I save every coin in a piggy bank. Believe it or not my husband and I went on a trip only on the coins we had saved for a year!

It has been one of my irritating habit of collecting 1sen coins and I kept in a big fat glass jar along with my 5sen coins. I never bothered counting it and god knows what I should do with it.
A suggestion would be nice if I should continue the habit or should I exchange it to the bank and later spend it on paying toll?

I use my Bank of America debit card, and I participate in their "Keep the Change" program. When I spend $9.01 in the store, the bank rounds it up to $10, and puts the other $.99 in my savings account. Once a year, they total up all the money that's gone into my account that way, and then they give me an additional payment (of their money) equal to 5% of my annual contribution to the savings account. My annual "match", as it's called, just went into my account last month...it was $18. Not a lot, but it was free money. Plus it forces me to save. I like it.

I keep it in a coffee can. I hate loose change. Every time I shell out $10.00 for something that costs $9.01, I figure I've just been screwed out of a dollar and I contemplate committing sales clerk homicide when he/she has the nerve to give me 99 cents change.

Once a week I clean out my purse, and throw the coins in a tin. Then, when it's full, I have $50 to spend on something.

I tend to abuse the poor things. They get throw into a small dish in my bedroom. They also fall onto the floor, under the couch, behind the bed, the bottom of my purse, and everywhere they happen to fall out of my pockets.
