ok...I need help coming up with a name for my baby...HELP!!!

I got Tegan and Sara from the band Tegan and Sara because they rock...I got Amalie from the little girl I babysit...I got Ben from my best friend and the dad
I got Brandon from my brothers girlfriend brothers friend (lol)...I got Skylar from my other bff...uhh...names arent limied to these...tell me any that I didnt put up here...

Amalie - though it seems you might be going for Amelie, here (which CAN be said "like Emily but with an A"). Amalie's emphasis is usually properly placed on the middle syllable, to sound more like ah-MAH-lee. Amelie, however, can be a-may-LEE (with the French accent), AH-me-lee or AM-e-lee (similar to Emily). That middle vowel makes a slight difference. :)

None of the boy names overly excite me (either very common, dated or simply trendy), but Joshua would likely be my favorite of the lot. Ben would be tied with it, if it were a nickname for some formal version.

For the girls, I like the names Tegan and Amalie. I think Amalie sounds cute with an A. Here's my order from best to worst in my opinion.

Tegan and Amalie are tied, Kristian, Jazmyn, Krissy, Nicky, Willow, Sara


For the boys side, I like Brandon and Skylar the best. Here's another whatever you call it.

Skylar and Brandon are tied, joshua, brad, michael, ben

My top names for boy and girl from your list are definitely Amalie and Skylar. I also like Brandon but Skylar is more unique and cute (call him Sky for short). The other boys names are too plain and dont stand out to me. And the other girls names are ok to me but Amalie is the prettiest. You might also like Amelie (french name) or Amelia or other versions of Emily are Emma, Emilia, Emalynn, Emalise or Emaline or you could spell them with an A as Amalia, Amalynn, Amalise, Amaline. You may also like Adalie (also a french name- and pronounced Ad-uh-lee) or Adalia. I thought they sounded similar to Amalie but I think are prettier. Just some suggestions. Good luck!

I like the way you put "Amalie" it makes it so much more unique :] Tegan is a pretty name too. I like Skylar too. There arent many people with that name and i think thats better, well in my point of view because i wouldnt want to have to same name as anybody else haha! oh well, good luck with your baby! :)

I like Sara and Amalie best out of the girls. Ben is my favorite from the boy's list...def. not into Skylar for a boy.

Out of the girl names I really like Tegan the best. But I have also seen it spelled "Teagan". Either one is cute.

I wouldnt name a boy Skylar I think it sounds girly. I just picture someone calling him "sky" for short and it sounds girly. I like brandon and michael. classic names

I think Amalie sounds great for a girl, soft and cute!
Michael is a bit common for a boy, Skylar or Joshua is good, I think.
