In high school I used to go hunting and target shooting and fishing and camping with the guys. I also had lots of girl friends.
Now I have 2 really close male friends, we talk on the phone all the time and E each other and the rest are women, many from all over the US. Men in a group are easier to get along with than women. I used to get dragged to parties where the women sat and bashed hubs and other women, I would go in with the guys and talk sports and just hang out. Not liking gossip and rock tossing.

This was a very interesting question and to tell you the truth most of my friends are married couples and I'm friends with both parties so the numbers are really kinda even. When I was a kid I was a tomboy and I hung out with the guys so over the years I have been friends with more men than women, but as of right now the numbers are really even.

I have a lot of men friends, just friends. I enjoy talking and spending time in men's company if they are intelligent. My closest one passed away a year ago. And as the song goes we were "Never lovers. ever friends" It's made a deep void in my life.

On the other hand, I have more lady friends, than men friends. Mostly, I am friends with my friends husband AND wives. Does that make sense?

It's about even. My two friends I have known the longest are women. I am the only woman on my bowling team. Three guys and me. We get along great but having another woman on the team is better. More to talk about between frames than listening to football discussions.

Personally It's about 50/50 but it could easily lean more toward women because, in general, the in the population of churches there seems to be an unbalance to the female side.

Women now that I am older and divorced. In my younger years, I had few women friends but men abounded. I was a "hot" number until the medical stuff but I appreciate how you always make everyone feel better with your q's. Thanks
