I cleaned my room rather thourghly and changed it up... I am wondering what kind of effect this may have on my life. It now has a TV with cable and a 'systematic' way to take care of all my stuff. What kind of butterfly effect may this have on my life

I've done that. It feels great. I like coming home to a clean place. It improves my mood. Taking care of it continues to make me feel good, and it brightens my day to feel that I am accomplishing things and getting them done. I think it will also help order your thinking, so that you feel more calm and centered. Now the challenge is to keep it up for three weeks until it becomes a habit.

Most human beings like order. Why, this could even change your way of thinking. All day long you know that when you get home you can just relax because all is in order. It will become your sacntuary from chaos. You may even end up putting ur email in order.

I doubt that it will. Except maybe you can get ready quicker and not have to worry about being late because you couldn't find something. Other than that, room cleaning is quite minor in the scheme of things.

Reality check here:

'The Butterfly Effect' was a movie based on someone's excellent imagination and ability to tell a story and great actors to make it appear it comes to life, but movies are still based on fantasy and make believe.

Cleaning your room is reality.

Hey, does your Mom know you're on the Internet right now?

I am guessing you still live at home with your mom, right?
