When I worked in a restaurant we had a book that had all of the licenses from all 50 states in there and what everything meant to tell if it was a fake. I searched it on line but was unable to find, if you can get your hand on this you would be able to find out. Do you have a dmv that you could go in and ask, a police man in the state should be able to tell you, or maybe the motor vehicle of texas website had that info. Good luck!

After looking at some images on a Yahoo search, some at the site www.flickr.com especially, the numbers shown are a person's height in feet and inches; birthdate (month, day, year); the year the license expires; and the Department of Public Safety (or DPS) audit number. A second picture showed a license number above the height numbers.
