Listen to The Dillinger Escape Plan, especially from their Miss Machine or Calculating Infinity cds. Their new cd isn't as brutal.

Also, 36 Crazyfists or Between the Buried and Me.

Awesome hardcore metal. You could also try Skindred,
Mushroomhead, even Deftones have some hard metal.
