I wonder are the color of the betta fighter have such a psychologically effects to the opponent? or they just use that bright color to scary purpose only?

Bettas' bright colors are not natural. You will rarely, if ever, see a wild Betta that is bright red, blue, yellow, or any other gaudy color. Wild Bettas are earthy tones. The bright colors were brought out through selective breeding. Their color is completely separate from their "fighting ability". Please do not "fight" your Betta, this is extremely cruel, and no better than dog fighting...

No the color of the betta will not determine who will win. If you fight them, usually both of them will die because they hurt each other so bad. Usually keep 2 bettas in a tank with a separator and you will see the vibrant colors. DONT FIGHT THEM. ITS CRUEL

The color of a betta depends on the sex. Brighter, more colorful bettas that have long "fins" are males, while the more duller bettas with short fins are females.
