Do you ever talk about people behind theire back i.e. gossip?

Question

I usually avoid this but have to admit to doing it when I am around people who are very big gossips, it's almost like it is contagious.

Not asking if you would say it to their face, so would I but gossiping is gossiping.

I seem to do it ALL the time when I'm around a certain friend. I catch myself doing it with others, but usually I try to avoid it. It's just that one friend that LOVES gossipping and, like someone else said, it's contagious!

I kind of slip sometimes, but I try hard in practicing not to gossip as much. I always remind myself, "What goes around comes around."
People who gossip at work are pretty much bored with their lives and usually talk about others. They are usually the first candidates to get let go because they are not very productive.

i understand the temptation to do it around other people but no, i don't say anything behind another person's back - if i do say anything it is not gossip because it would be something i have already or would say to their face. people do not respect or trust a gossip and someone who gossips will do it to you, too. so i just avoid those people and that temptation doesn't have a chance to rear it's ugly head!

Yes. I work in an office with a bunch of women -- no guys at all. If I didn't participate in the gossip, I'd never get to talk.

i do and i'm do the same as you when other gossips are around. it's so hard not to talk about people because they are all different.

I hate gossips too through fact maximum of them are merely offensive / stressful and that i hate it that maximum folk in my u . s . do it. Gossips are no longer genuine, so why do they could desire to do it? I desire they could desire to stop the gossiping. they have not got the rest to do yet to wreck different persons's lives or communicate approximately nonsense stuff... :[

It is contagious and it's addictive. I think everyone does it even if they refuse to admit to it.

nope anything i say behind their back i have the balls to say to their face. life is just easier that way.
