Yes excactly. The Liberal Media myth is a propaganda tool employed by conservative radio hosts, columnists and pundits as a convenient excuse why after 20 years their ideology has failed to convince the public at large, and as a memetic inocculation of the public against the evidence that the media bias is in fact a conservative one.
Not only does the liberal media claim have no basis in fact, it also does not make sense considering the issues of media ownership and influence of advertisers. Most media outlets are owned by a handful of conservative corporations and individuals, and funded by usually economically conservative advertisers who have no need for an educated, alert, independent and critical citizenry. What they need is a dumb, bored, cynical and apathetic public that has abandoned all critical faculties and is easily distracted by celebrity gossip and mindless sports games. A public that will believe anything it is told, or nothing at all, which amounts to the same end result. This pro-corporate conservative bias of the media is well-documented and shows itself in consistent under-reporting or ignoring of any information that would lead people to question the fundamental status quo.

And those businesses are frequently run by ability of liberal elitists like Viacom/CBS's Sumner Redstone. Memos from the boss are stunning issues. Bernard Goldberg wrote an extremely good e book, Bias, on his studies at CBS information, and their institutional bias resembles that at CNN, MSNBC, NBC information (the position the liberal bigot Brian Williams is boss and anchor), etc, except Fox information. attempt absolutely observing information courses and pay interest to which networks record which memories and how they do it. that is how something individuals realized that there is actual a liberal bias interior the nationwide media. and there is a reason behind that - in journalism class in college, there are fewer "difficult questions" than interior the actual sciences or different tracks in the route of a pro education. reality is relative in J-college (I minored in Journalism and turned right into a radio announcer and editorial cartoonist for the student newspaper in college). So bias would not a lot creep in as own newshounds from the get-flow. And that bias is predominantly liberal. Nacho, I own a replica of Liberal Fascism, I trust Goldberg's conclusions and your evaluation of it.

The neocons definition of liberal is anyone who espouses a viewpoint that in any way differs from their viewpoint. So, by their definition, anything to the left of Faux news, etc. is liberal and, therefore, a threat to America.

What, you mean the Fox News Channel? The liberal media made itself a threat to the safety of the American public. No illusions, blame, nor excuses.

yes, the opium of the disaffected -a controlled opposition of the NWO- just like the one in Congress.
the 'liberal' agenda is the flip side of the same NWO coin.e.g. It never has exposed neo-conservatism for the globalist ideology that it is- because 'liberals' are also globalist and in many ways puppets of the NWO too.

When you speak of "liberal" media you are talking about 95% of all the national news channels, a majority of local news, etc. When you talk about "conservative" media, you are talking about Fox network and a FEW talk radio stations. That's it.
I watch both Fox and other national news and am finding that both are very slanted and both leave quite a bit of newsworthy topics off their shows. A great example was something that occurred just a couple days ago. How many of you heard about the woman who had come here from Lebanon, overstayed her visa, paid off an unemployed American to marry her so she could gain her citizenship, then eventually got hired by....
Yep, you got it, THE CIA!!! She was just arrested a couple days ago on espionage charges, for allegedly stealing sensitive information for Hezbula (sp). ABC news, not one word, NBC news, yes, they said a little, Fox, they were all over it. I don't know about CBS or CNN. Now, you tell me, who is slanted and who gives the news as NEWS and not as PR?
My thinking is that, since ABC news is very much pro-illegal and she was illegal, they didn't want to report on something that would fuel the anti-illegal movement. I call that biased news reporting.
