I once had a USG/untrasonograph done and the doctor commented that I was given a lot of antibiotics when I was a child. He was going over my intestines or lower abdomen at the time. What does this mean? What are the side effects of giving children antibiotics?

The most common side effect that can occur from taking antibiotics is a yeast infection but as far as an effect long-term on internal organs I've never heard this before. I find that very interesting. I would recommend making another appt with this doctor to ask some more questions to see what he means.
