You cannot say the Colts defense! I was impressed with how the 3 rookies up front on the D line played. LT is arguably the best running back in the league! I think he is the best. Some may disagree. Anyways, The Colts ended up putting 3 rookie defensive lineman in the game do to injuries. And the defense as a whole only gave up a touchdown and 91 rushing yards. If anyone is to blame, I say this time it was the offense! 6 intercetptions is probably asking to much for any defense in the league to make up for. And the Colts nearly won the game anyway! But the Chargers are a great football team and I think they will do well in the playoffs. I just hope the Colts can get squared away before the playoffs start.

THERE IS TWO PEOPLE TO BLAME
1 PEYTON MANNING
2 TONY DUNGY
PEYTON FOR THE 6 COUNT THEM NOW 6 INT'S
AND TONY DUNGY FOR NOT BEING BETTER PREPARED DUE TO THE BAD TASTE LEFT IN HIS MOUTH FROM LOSING TO THE PATRIOTS THE WEEK BEFORE

The offense could definately take the blame for that one. They were completely out of synch due to the amount of players that were out. Even all that considered they were still in the game at the end. Their special teams also didnt help them out by giving up two scores. After all this happened it doesn't say much that the Chargers still only managed a 2 point win. I wouldnt count the Chargers out as far as getting things back together though.

Joe D apparently you didnt see the after game interview Manning took all the credit for the loss. I know you Patriot fans dont like him but give the guy some credit.

I, personally, would not blame P. Manning. He is working with unfamiliar receivers which were not 'route-ready' for his reads. ( to back this up, they went into the unconventional huddle so he had time to explain to everyone what he expected everyone to do after they seen the Def) Well, I would have to believe they were not on the same page each time. (I'm a packer fan and Favre went through these same things the past two years)
To answer the question: No doubt, The kicker!!
Here he comes on the field, chewing some wad of gum, and oh-hum misses a first half kick. Then, to win the game in the 4th, can't hit a what??? 30 yarder? Good grief!!

It was nobody's fault, imma say this loud and clear so listen. Manning is the best QB as far as anybody knows, yeah you say 6 picks is bad but i think everyone has bad games in their career. Oh and buddy do me a favor. DON't give the most overrated team in the NFL the title "Chargers are a great football team".

Brady is good but next season there ain't gonna be a moss so have fun a-holesssssssssss.

Boston will never win after 2008.

Manning laid a 6 INT egg, I would say the blame falls SQUARELY on him.

You would never see Brady lay an egg like that, and that is why Brady is light years ahead of Peyton.

But I think what happened was that after getting raped by New England, the Colts realized that they had no chance in hell of repeating as Super Bowl champs, and they self destructed in the locker room.

The finger will be pointing at Vinateri, but it should have never gotten to that point if Peyton wouldn't have thrown that many interceptions, which in reality were cause by the number of injuries to his regular receivers, and the lack of timing between the quarterback and his new inexperienced receivers,so to your question, all should share the blame, and at the same time none should feel it was their fault

That was on Peyton. A team that has their QB throw six interceptions is not going to win a game. Period.

But just for the sake of keeping perspective, Manning can be credited for winning many more games for his team than he has ever cost them.

I guess there's nobody to blame since it was a team effort. If you want to point fingers, point it to the team. But, it wasn't even that good of a win, but I'm a Chargers fan so I don't really care how we win, just as long as we do.

The Chargers.

It shouldnt have been a loss. It should have been a murder.

But that just goes to show that phillip and the rest of the Chargers O are inept.

special teams and adam V...it reminded me of the cowboys bills game, where romo threw 6 INT's...only difference was their kicker kicked the long FG whereas adam V missed a 29 yard chip-shot...special teams cannot afford to give up 2 TD's either...
