Is it true that it stunts growth during height? I am 18 right now but im only about 5'9 and a half my dad is near 6'0 sometimes i wonder if im not growing because of masterbation and think to myself if i didn't do it how tall would i be? maybe i would be taller then my dad?
or am i just worrying to much? does anyone do it and are they tall? i mean real tall over 6'0 and there taller then there parents?

also does it cause ur skin to not recover faster? and do u lose brain cells and grow weaker?

some sites explain saying it will make u ejaculate faster when u have sex but other then that is there other harmful effects? this is a serious matter.. i need some real opinions has anyone delt with this?

I am over 6 feet tall ans so is my son (no I have never asked him). It will not stunt your growth, damage your skin, kill brain cells or effect your sex life later on.

You have to be judicious when reading stuff on some of these website....there is a lot of mis-information around.

Hi there, there is nothing bad that can happen to you as a result of masterbating besides you getting to know your body better and sexual release. You'll hear all kind of myths about it. People said these things long ago when masterbation was not seen as a normal activity, but as a sin, and didn't understand human sexuality in general. Practially everyone and I mean everyone masterbates. If you masterbate you may be able to learn to control when you ejaculate so there is no problems there. Also you may not ejaculate very quickly during sex because you have already had some release. So as far as effecting sex - it's all in the good! If there were a height effect from it there would be a heck of a lot of short people out there! ;) So relax and enjoy! :)

There are a lot of myths about masturbation. There was a time when people thought it was a bad thing to do. In fact, there are still people today who believe it's sinful because it's pleasurable.

Speaking from a purely scientific point of view, there are no known ill effects caused by masturbating. It will NOT stunt your growth, cause you to go blind, make you gay, make it impossible to have children when you get married, or cause you to grow hair on your palms. These were all myths invented by adults to frighten teenagers to keep them from jerking off because it was believed to be sinful.

If you are a member of a fundamentalist or evangelical religion, you could suffer some ill effects from the guilt that religion uses as a way to keep you from experiencing pleasure from your own body. But otherwise, all those things you've heard and read are just nonsense.

No need to worry, my friend. Think of the tallest person you can. He masturbates. Think of the person with the best skin you've ever seen. She masturbates Think of the smartest people in your school. They masturbate. We all masturbate. It does not effect your height, weight, intelligence, social status or any of those things. It does not make you grow hair on the palm of your hands (which is what we were told when we were young.) It's a normal behavior, especially for a boy in his teens (but it will continue to be in your 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond.) Just enjoy the good feelings and try to not feel guilty about it.
