What makes kissing great is if the person you are kissing has the same feelings for you that way you know it's good for both of you. Plus being in love with the person helps add to the excitement.

The fact that you can slip into a fantasy world and never come back unless the intensity of the kiss be broken. The passion can forever hold you in your dreams. What do I like about kissing? The fact that it is the complete opposite of dayfreaming. In a daydream, you are unaware of your real surroundings, during the dream of a kiss, you are fully aware of your surroundings; in fact, your senses sharpen. Oh, the wonders of love. Too bad the kiss is only a few seconds long...

1) Actually liking the person you're doing it with (it's no fun if you don't)
2) A good kisser

My ex-boyfriend was neither of these so kissing wasn't much fun. My first kiss was the most anti-climactic moment of my life, and I think had I'd been more into him I would've had a lot more fun doing it.
Oh, and always brush your teeth before you do it.

It depends on the person you are receiving a kiss from. If you love them and they are your number one, it is tender and passionate, yet gentle and should show them you love them the most. From a family member--sister, brother, etc.--it is just a peck to show you love them. My preacher always pecks me on the cheek--he does everyone--because he loves us all like family. But you do have to be careful these days with all the disease and germs. Don't just kiss anyone on the mouth--you might end up sick!
