Well you have to make your own fun. What ever it is you like to do, I'd start to try and join some local groups in that activity. Maybe you could volunteer somewhere or join a few social clubs. Be the best person you can be.

At the same time, don't get down on your self. If you worry to much about whether people will like you or not they often won't because your too busy trying to be all things to all people. Just stop worrying, be your self, relax and let your true personality shine through. Friendships will develop. Good luck!

It depends on what kind of things you like to do for fun. For example, if you like to bowl, go to the local bowling alley. Finding people who have similar interests will open up all kinds of doors for you. Also, do a google search of that town's chamber of commerce or something like that. That should lead you in directions that would be interesting. Good luck, and like the others have said here. . . just BE YOURSELF.

just relax and be yourself, my family moved a lot when i was little, and i would always worry about making new friends. once i learned to just be me and relax, it got to be a lot easier. moving can be very stressful, but it can be a good thing too, it can give you a chance to meet people you wouldn't have before, and learn new things from them. like one of the previous answers said, just smile and be nice, and any good person will smile back and be nice to you.
