I want to know what the candidates will do if elected, not hear again what Bush did wrong. I know there were lots of mistakes made. The last 3 answers given by candidates in the debate were "George Bush did this, and George Bush did that". We know what Bush did, what are they going to do?

Chi: I could understand if the were envoking the name of their favorite president (JFK, or FDR), that's what the republicans are doing. But to continually go after a sitting president, no matter how unpopular, that can't run for office again, doesn't make sense to me.

yes they do
good point
that is how our system works or fails to work
until the general election little or nothing of real consequence will be discussed
the same can be said about the republicans

Have you ever watched The O'Reilly Factor on FOX News?
The most satisfyingly funny moments were when Bill O'Reilly had a frothing-at-the-mouth Liberal on the show, who could talk a mile a minute about a litany of supposed mistakes Bush had made.
Instead of trying to combat the lunacy, Bill just cordially told the guest he had the remaining half minute of the segment to tell America what the Democratic plan would be.
The guest always looks startled. It's almost as if criticizing Bush was their entire political philosophy. They didn't have a plan of their own.
The previously glib guest just starts stammering. All of a sudden, he has nothing to say.
And the best part? All of America got to see it.

Bush is a extensive area of the cutting-edge republican checklist. in 2000 republicans if truth be told ran against Clinton... you run a platform on what has been completed not what somebody, who you do not even comprehend who it must be, might do. you're fake impression what systems are. they are in basic terms approximately continually cutting-edge subject vs what the candidate might do diverse or the comparable. each and all of the republicans in 2000 ran on ethical management and restoring dignity to the Whitehouse... this wasn't Gore's meant weak spot. Ron Paul is in actuality working against Bush besides.

I think you're asking; Do they have a plan?
Well, the last plan I heard was in the lead up to 2006's election.
It went something like this: "We will end this war". I guess somebody should have asked; When?
Sounds like they are saying almost the same thing.
But, this time they say things like 'Redeployment'
What is that? Redeployed where? Okinawa? Kuwait? The Ocean. The ocean might no complain but don't all these countries have a say?

Yes. Do GOP candidates realize that Ronald Reagan is not running in the next election?

I know that, but so far all the candidates are just like Bush. They are all supporters of Bush's policies, so it is relevant.

It would appear not, but in their defense, the republicans have done the same thing. It annoy the living hell out of me, but we have to admit that both sides are doing it.

They have to run against bush, they have based regaining the white house on the loss of the war in Iraq, that's why they are still trying to surrender to whoever they can.

Yea it is pretty stupid. They think if they just blame Bush the most, they don't actually have to debate the issues.
