Illegals can now get auto insurance without showing ANY id. Having no driving record, they automatically qualify for good driver's discounts of up to 25% regardless of how many drunk driving accidents they've had, tickets, suspensions, etc. because there is no way of tracking their records.
It is the epitome of good ole American reverse discrimination and it needs to be stopped. If this is the only way of correcting the situation, I am for it. They should pay as much as we pay. They should face the same consequences that we face. OR, they should be deported.

No. They are here in America ILLEGALLY! You can not reward them with a privilege given to American citizens.
In New York, giving DL to illegals will lessen the use of the citizen lic., it will no longer be accepted as ID to travel around the states, Mexico, Canada, PR, etc. It's not fair to the legal citizens of NY so pay attention: if it happens in NY, your state will follow soon...Gov. Spitzer put it on the back burner BUT its not gone completely.
If you catch someone robbing your house, do you give them a sandwich & drink?
