It already is...India and China will rule the world

I recently visited India. India can not become a super power. I predict an Economic collapse soon due to Infrastructure collapse followed by real estate collapse. Roads are clogged with unruly vehicles, adding lanes will not solve this problem and will not catch up with increased vehicles on the road. Garbage everywhere, and no planned waste collection system in place. Landfills are not scientifically designed so ground water pollution is undeniable. Sewage is mostly open drainage. There is no concept of Storm drain and House drain. Both flows to the street. Courtesy is non-existing in entering Bus or Train or just walking in a crowded street.Corruption is tolerated by everyone. Mainly poor is not getting better. You need education, but you need money to get into good schools and colleges. Most of all Politicians stand in the way to do honest improvements as in the case of 'siruthuli" in Coimbatore and public just stands and watch, instead of standing by "Siruthuli" Democracy may not be the way to go. History shows that India improved during Emergency rule and Governors rule. You be the judge.

1. REDUCE POPULATION.
2. To do that... educate EVERYONE, old, young, man woman, child... everyone... not only about benefits of a small family but also about the larger benefits of both a small family and formal education.

Citizens of India have to take the initiative in this regard. The problem now is not that there are no schools or there are no facilities... a bigger problem is that people do not understand the benefits of formal education because formal education is directly related to ready made, well-paid employment which is usually not the case. So, when a graduate ends up being unemployed the message goes out .... "don't waste time and money on formal education. go out and learn something that will get you a descent earning." This thinking has taken on the form of a never-ending circle. This thinking has to be changed. We have to stop thinking that just because we are graduates we should not take up jobs that give 4 or 5-figure salary only.

For example, an educated farmer will be far more successful than one who does not have any formal education. An educated housekeeper would be far more in demand than one who is not educated.

I think India can only be the super power once both exports and imports balance.
Appreciating Rupee is a crisis for the IT and large part of manufacturing units especially textiles.I feel that give should take the immidiate steps soon before it's too late as it doesnt seems in an immidiate term for depreciating rupee.Although it wll further appreciate in coming months,
Its a already a big hurdle with growing inflation.
The companies also not performing well.Look at the valuations. It certainly should be controlled.

To become a military superpower, India has to first get into the UN Security Council.
To become an economic superpower, you have to dominate the business world world-class companies, as well as both exports and imports, which is a tall order for India..........

Steps to be taken:

2. Manmohan Singh your Prime Minister should play Fiddler on the GOOF[NO SPOOFY ROOF for him]
3. Dismiss all honest officials and Include more criminal Ministers.
4. Love Bush as per that Sikh Prime Minister who calls him the nicest guy in the world.
5. Demolish all your buildings and houses to ground Zero level as you have been actively engaged doing that.
6. Vote for Dynastic Rule [Rahul Gandi this time]
7. Try becoming US citizens En Masse'. Get a Canadian Green Card and enter USA.
8. Fell all tress En Masse in millions and not in thousands for getting a Bronze in Asiad. For increasing your Stamina eat raw meat.
9. Double your population so that every 2nd man/woman in the world is an Indian . That won't be a problem as you are experts in procreating.
10. Enforce Indo US deal for surrendering your Governance to USA a process which you have already started and you'll love being slaves to blue eyed Blonds . Become Marxists [All]

First Step:
Just Stop thinking about others. If everyone in India become good citizen then whole the country become good. Don't do corruption, don't give bribe to police, don't throw ur garbage outside ur home, be honest, be self-discipline, be literate etc....these things are look like small things but the results will be very miraculous. These r the root cause and to solve any problem first thing is to reach to the root.
Second Step:
Preach others who r doing wrong things....

The term superpower encompasses all avenues i.e a very strong & vibrant economy with total self sufficiency in agriculture & power, a large educated workforce, a strong GDP & a very capable defence mechanism for the country's security.
While India is on the right path in trying to achieve these milestones there is just one area that needs a total revamp - corruption, nepotism & political intereference.

To Traveler (and all others who think like him/her): For a nation like India, with a population of 1.3 billion or so people to sustain a quality of life parallel to the likes of the United States is almost as laughable as requesting the United States to stand down from it's title as "world super power." It's virtually impossible to do. How is India supposed to raise the quality of life if the United States already consumes a great majority of the resources? For India to raise the quality of life would be to compete strongly against the United States for resources; resources that the United States strongly opposes sharing to a "third world country."

As for the steps India needs to take to become a superpower, I believe India is doing a good job in bettering it's economy and military presence within the region. India is not as dependent on FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) as China is, allowing India for greater economic growth. India's tight relations with Russia allows for India's military presence in the region to better (technological improvement). India also already produces 50% more food than it needs in its own borders than it needs. The only problem that could hinder India's growth would be inflation. Americans and Europeans investing in the Indian stock market has been pushing much more American currency into India than the economy of India would like, pushing the dollar value closer to the rupee. Though this would seem like a good thing to people like "traveler" since they "help those who are poorer," India loses an economic advantage over China in that it would raise the cost of production for all companies//factories located in India. Price of each unit would increase as well with this increase in production.
