Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, & Britnay Spears.?

Question

Out of curiosity, does anyone find the actions of these "celebrities" completely unbelievably irrational? I mean, don't they have any self respect? If you knew the world was watching your every step, wouldn't you make sure you didn't publicly mess you life up? All the drinking, drugs, and alchohol is so distructful and yet these "woman" think this is their way to popularity. What kind of impression are we giving the teens that look up to them? Other ideas and impressions on the situation?

They're human - just like us, except they have the papperazzi following them 24/7. It's hard enough for them to live their lives, they don't even have any privacy. they're not perfect cause no one is. sometimes you have to put on their shoes to feel and understand their actions.

I think Paris Hilton sucks...its like she only got passed pre-school cause the only word she know to describe something cool or nice or great "That's Hot"...."Yeah, That's Hot". If that's the only way to get popular and be under the spotlight then "That's Hot".

Lindsay on the other hand, just can't hold her booze and drugs. I think they are better off in strip clubs and stuff since they live for the booze and drugs.

Britney is a whole different case...its like "OMG, I think getting pregnant would be like awesome" after another child she's like..."Tom & Kate are beating me out of the media spotlight...I think I should have another kid." Then after that "No more kids, I need something more exciting other than getting pregnant." She goes dumping K-Fed...and the media spotlight isn't still on her but on Brad & Angelina. And so at the end it ....its like "Whatever" and she does do whatever she wants.

You took the words out of my mouth. Everybody's keep telling me that it's not their fault, it's the media/paparazzis. They're celebrities, that's why everything that they do is publicly broadcasted even the smallest mistakes - Heck! No one ever forces them to be celebrities, does it? I mean, they're not little girls anymore. They're grown up people, adults. Britney even has already married TWICE and got kids. They should've known that if u want to be in this business (the showbiz), THIS is what u're gonna face everyday. If they don't like it, they can leave the industry for good. No one forces them to stay. Yet they're still here and making all this mess and what's worse is that they keep blaming other people but themselves LOL Grow up, b**tches! The world doesn't revolve around u!

I totally agree with you. Who doesn't? That said, none of us have to live with the ability to get and do anything we like at any moment, the pressure of having all this crap shoved at you at every second, the stress of having the cameras on you whenever you freakin' go to the bathroom, and the instability of being famous at such a young age with few role models or good mentors to guide your way. Stress + pressure + instability + riches = psychological trauma and bad decision making. I feel sorry for them.

needless to say Paris is the trashiest. the subsequent in the checklist is omit Lohan: she feels like she would not know what to do together with her existence, she thinks that each and every thing is celebration and "have relaxing" she's youthful, extremely gifted and proper, she would desire to make your ideas as much as her performing occupation or bypass to varsity, regardless of yet to do some thing effective for her existence, she's like somebody who cries for interest (like Paris) and Britney is in basic terms a trashy wannabe (yet she's doing it fairly properly) and he or she is being like that because of fact she would desire to be fairly depressed or possibly unhappy in the interior.

I have two daughters, 9 and 6. They used to look up to these girls, although the media has done a great job in convincing them to look elsewhere for role models.

i think because they are famous, they do stupid things because they get away with it, but also that the media focuses too much on them and not enough on the jeffrey dahmer's and ted bundy's of today. The media eggs them on, and they in turn egg on the media, so it becomes a neverending cycle of lost brain cells.

i think they are stupid. i mean all of them are actors...singers etc. they should know better than to show kids what they are doing...especially kids who look up to them and will do the same exact things...i dont think they are real actors. all of them are fake and stupid. if they were dedicated to their carrier, they wouldnt try to ruin it with drugs and stuff. i want to be an actor really bad....(not like them) but my mom says "look at linsey and britney...your going to do drugs if you do acting" just because of them...parents are getting the message that all actors do drugs and all kids are thinking "if they do it...i guess its ok!" I think they are not only ruining their lives...but their ruining a lot of their fans lives. i think what they do is plain stupid and i agree with you!
