There have been a few questions about the discovery of Vicky Hamilton's body over the past two days. I have noticed in all the lovely posts that are conveying sympathy towards her family, every one of them just about has been given a thumbs down.
Personally I think that is appalling. Does anyone else?

A thumbs down doesn't change how you felt about the question. A thumbs down does absolutely nothing to the question or the answer.I'd rather see a thumbs down than have some Nazi room mother report someone because they gave them a truthful answer. Not all answers will be what you want to hear. Just take a deep breath and continue your life.

Their brains are in their thumbs and yet there is plenty of room for em to rattle about, I am amazed at how heartless some people come across.
Yeah poor kid, how can a family ever get over something like that it's impossible.
Mind you I have been guilty, of appearing heartless a few times, when I am really bored, like suggesting people eat their kids or pet rabbits, i suppose I deserved the hail of thumbs down and violations I got loo oops I meant lol

I agree, I don't understand how anyone can thumb down messages of sympathy in regards to this case or other similar ones. Some people have no respect or feeling.

Yes there are a lot of thumbs down on here.I believe from memory that I was thumbed down for conveying my sympathy as well.There are subjects that will guarantee a deluge of thumbs down.Take the McCanns for example

Like Hot Pink, I live in Portsmouth, and the feeling about it here is clearly very different from some of the sick people on here.
I think it's awful. People should have some respect for the family of a girl who was brutally raped and murdered. How would they feel if it was their daughter??

yes it is but I was thinking maybe they want to only see their answers cause you know when you thumbs down someone it makes their answer go away. So lets just hope thats the case

It is not just here. the snide whoppers or thumbs downers are in seniors a lot lately too. questions about prayer and other heart felt questions and answers.

they are trolls - we have a phantom thumbs downer on here. I don't even notice the thumbs, if I like the answer or I know I have answered to my ability then stuff the rest.
That is awful what they discovered in Kent, her dad walked in front of the van taking him to court in protest of what a b****** that tobin guy is.
