At the Castleton State College stop, a young man in his upper teens or early 20s sat in a front row seat wearing a tee shirt that read, “Go back to California”. Sheehan used this to point out that she would rather be with her family in California. She said that she couldn't, however, because, George W. Bush had killed her son. When Sheehan said that she no longer had a son, the misguided young ingrate blurted out, “You have other children though!” So this is what the United States of America has come down to: an unfeeling president, incapable of human emotion and empty of grief or remorse is the role model for our youth, spreading his disease of non-empathy.
Thomas Jefferson's Manual, a guide to the United States Constitution. In it, the people of a state can petition their State legislature to pass a resolution that moves forward articles of impeachment to the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives. Thomas Jefferson knew that there could come a time where the executive branch consolidates too much power, with the Congress no longer being a co-equal branch. He feared that, and so he gave the people the power to impeach the president.
That is what they are afraid of. That is why, they attack the messenger and not the message. Their demented cause is lost. Their faith in an unelected president shattered. Their era is ending.
Nixon was nobody's fool. Bush, quite the contrary. Both, however, will share a common place in US history as failed presidents. George W. Bush will have the distinct dishonor of being the worst president the United States as ever had, and the country may never recover from it.

Don't like the man and didn't vote for him either time. Frankly holding a grudge because I had been a Republican for the past 25 years. Bush II ended that.
However, the Democratic Congress has allowed the Chimp to do his bidding unfettered. They must take some blame. The system is broken thanks to the rich elite, the special interest groups and lobbies.
I reach my hands out to both Republicans and Democrats and say: "We've been dumped on by both parties! It's time to take our country back!"

He has tried to do a good job of being president as much as any other president. Maybe not tried a whole lot or the way you'd like him to be, but I believe that deep down, he wants to make sure that our country is as good as it was when he became president than he did before he became president. He's trying and I think people like you guys need to give him a little more credit for the job he's doing presently. My English teacher made a good point, "I salute the OFFICE, not the person, but the OFFICE that he is in because that is what the majority of the country has voted for as him to become our president and to lead our country as he sees best." Good point huh?

He was elected under suspicious circumstances so that got him off to a shaky start. Then 9/11 happened and the country hung on his every word. He had more patriotic support than any president has had in a long time.
He blew that faith by insisting on this needless war. The lives lost, the money spent, and still no plan and no end in sight.

He united everyone against Bin Laden in the beginning. But that was shortlived. After it became apparent that he wasn't interested in catching the terrorist he promised would be brought to justice, the political division intensified worse than ever before in American history.

No he didn't. There was average division....only a handful of angry haters on either side, then 9/11 and everyone was totally together.....you couldn't find a person who wasn't pro america and who didn't rally 'round the flag, including other countries.......his reaction or lack thereof, his request that, instead of sacrifice, we all just go shopping....started us on a slippery slope towards where we are today.

He has created such a climate of harmony and peace that liberals and conservatives agree and love each other now.
